Xenia Communicator Newsletter

I wrote the Summer and Fall editions of the City of Xenia’s quarterly newsletter. I built it entirely from scratch using Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I was in charge of all aspects of the design and content curation. The newsletter includes video integration and was distributed using http://www.issuu.com.

Shoe Project

Poster:

I built this poster using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. It is related to the Ad I built in that it draws on the same theme and uses the same headline and the background from one of the Ad panels. It is intended to be placed inside a retail outlet to promote the Adidas Duramo 6 running shoe.

Ad:

This is a three panel advertisement I built from scratch using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. I used a mix of stock photos and self-taken photos. The ad concept, headline, and copy are all my original idea too. My idea for the concept was that by wearing Adidas running shoes, a person can go to a lot of interesting places and do a lot of interesting things, such as… Running in your neighborhood with your dog, competing in a race, and running on a beach on a tropical vacation.

Illustration:

Using Adobe Illustrator, I replicated a running shoe from scratch.

I also drew the logo from scratch.

Additionally, I created a layout for a shopping bag, and placed the items (shoe and logo) together to create a prototype of an Adidas shopping bag.
